News after a long hiatus

Howdy everyone,

ClubPenguin846 here, but I now go by BTOptimizer/ZonaHelix. It's been a long while since I had used this site and wanted to give you all an update as to what happened and why this site has become as dead as it is.

Starting off, a major reason I went inactive was due to a change in my living situation and I was no longer able to actively monitor this site or fix Suki's old download link as I deleted the zip/rar initially after feeling embarrassed about her quality.

Sadly, her old VB is/was on an old PC I used to use back in the day but I no longer know if the old PC is still within my possession. I believe it may still be on an old laptop I have hanging around but I make no guarantees if her VB is, in fact, still there or able to be recovered. I have not worked on any other UTAUs since then as I have not had any time to from then and even now. As of writing this I am now 22 years old (I was 14 when I made the "Info on Suki Izuko" post) and have been job searching while spending time with friends and family and moderating on an online community. I have been thinking of redoing Suki's VB entirely but I'm still pretty shy about my voice and voicing Suki with people around so no promises on that.

Another reason is that I was still pretty young and in school at the time of making her so I wasn't fully able to dedicate time necessary to keep things rolling as I ambitiously anticipated. However, I still do MMD animations and have picked it back up as a hobby whenever I want to take a crack at doing lip syncs again (I'm still not good at body movement, forgive me lol.) Only downside is that along with Suki's VB I also lost a majority of the old MMD models I had back then as well so I'm really hoping the aforementioned laptop will have the old files that I've been longing to use again.

I believe the laptop either ran out of power to the battery (0% battery so it won't turn on) or that the battery itself managed to kick the bucket. I currently don't know what's wrong with it but I do plan on trying to figure out what that might be. (Hoping the battery just needs to be charged and that the hard drive is still in tact.)

With that being said, I'm not sure what I'll use this blog site for. I might plug my Twitch, YouTube, Twitter or other social media platforms here. Considering I'm mainly active on Twitter, go follow me at @ZonaHelix for random posts, life or stream updates, and conversations I weigh in on. I'm also active on Discord but I keep that to friends only, but if you see me in a mutual server feel free to tag me and say hello! I might not recognize you but mentioning that you read this Blogspot post will give me an idea as to how you found out who I was.
